What is Runaroo?

Runaroo is the easiest way for running clubs to create vibrant web communities.

Their members can interact, log runs, share workouts, and build connections.

Why use Runaroo?

As a club, its important and valuable to have a place where all your members can gather, train, and connect. Offline, your club is already doing a great job of it, through social events, group runs, and charity events. Online, most running clubs don't have anything beyond a static website established. This means, your members are scattered on various running sites, albeit nice ones, like Nike+ or Dailymile, using their tools and connecting with other runners. However, as a running club, what you want is to always provide your members with more "mediums" for them to socialize and interact with people they know in the real world, afterall, it's why they joined your club in the first place. This is what you can do with Runaroo! And more than just creating a "generic community" site, because you can already do that with applications like Facebook or Y! Groups, Runaroo makes it truly relevant to running by providing running tools, and intertwining those running tools with community features. That's an important distinction, because you can't get that from generic community sites.

What's our goal?

We want running clubs, regardless of size and technical experience, to have the capability to quickly set up and manage their own social "training" site. With Runaroo, clubs can launch their own page within minutes, and members can explore and use its features in no time.

How is Runaroo different from other social networks?

We've built this site specifically for runners, integrating running tools with social media features so members can take advantage of the following:

And there's more to come, of course! Stay tuned, runners and clubs, as we continue to develop features that will enhance your online social experience.
